Green Methods at Home Participation Agreement
Please read this agreement carefully before participating. It contains an assumption of risk and a release of claims, including claims arising from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
1. Home Use Only
Green Methods at Home is an at-home learning program that includes instructional materials and physical activities. This program is for personal, noncommercial home use only by the purchaser and members of the purchaser’s household.
A trusted adult may assist with teaching or supervising a household participant, provided that person also agrees to protect the confidential methods and materials.
2. Participation and Supervision
I understand that participation is voluntary and that activities are conducted at home or another location selected by me, outside the direct supervision of Green’s Karate and its instructors.
If a participant is a minor, I confirm that I am the participant’s parent or legal guardian and that I am responsible for providing appropriate adult supervision. I am responsible for selecting a suitable practice area, following the instructions provided, and considering each participant’s abilities and needs.
I understand that physical activity may not be appropriate for every person in every circumstance. I will seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional when appropriate and stop participation if a participant experiences pain, injury, or other concerning symptoms.
3. Assumption of Risk
I understand that karate, exercise, movement practice, and related activities involve risks. These may include falls, collisions, muscle strains, sprains, broken bones, other serious injury, disability, or death. Injuries may occur despite reasonable precautions.
I voluntarily choose to participate, or allow the minor identified below to participate, with knowledge of these risks. I accept the risks to the extent permitted by applicable law.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and agree not to bring claims against Green Methods at Home, doing business as Corey Green, and its owners, officers, employees, instructors, coaches, and agents, for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation in or use of Green Methods at Home, including claims arising from their ordinary negligence.
If I am signing as a parent or legal guardian, I make this release concerning the participating minor only to the extent that applicable law permits me to do so. I understand that this agreement does not release claims that cannot legally be waived.
5. Protection of Proprietary Methods and Commercial Licensing
Green Methods at Home contains proprietary teaching methods, proprietary instructional materials, and other confidential information belonging to Green’s Karate.
I agree not to share, publish, distribute, post, publicly demonstrate, sell, or teach the proprietary methods or materials outside the authorized household without prior written permission from Green’s Karate. This includes sharing instructional videos, access links, QR codes, login credentials, photographs, recordings, or written descriptions that reveal the proprietary methods or materials.
Commercial use is not included. Martial arts schools or other organizations interested in using Green Methods commercially must contact Green’s Karate at GreensKarate.com for information about licensing, structure, and implementation.
This section does not prohibit me from sharing a personal experience or providing a review, as long as I do not reveal the proprietary methods or materials.
6. Understanding and Agreement
I confirm that I have read this agreement, understand that it contains an assumption of risk and a release of claims to the fullest extent permitted by law, and agree voluntarily. If signing for a minor, I confirm that I have authority to consent to that minor’s participation.
